Qigong
Qigong (pronounced Chi-Gung) is an ancient mind-body practice originating in China, involving flowing, gentle movements & guided breathwork. Qigong practice has numerous mental and physical health benefits.
Qigong is both an internal and external art. The physical forms involve precise, sequenced movements designed to channel vital energy and blood flow through specific pathways. The forms develop balance, flexibility & coordination.
The internal work of Qigong is designed to cultivate deep relaxation & ease of breathing. By regulating breathing, reducing heart rate and cultivating deep focus, Qigong provides a wonderful antidote to a chaotic modern world.
Whilst it has ancient roots, Qigong is a contemporary, evolving practice, with modern research continuing to prove the healing benefits (See below).
My Qigong practice began in 2010, studying under Master Simon Lau. I completed my formal Instructor training with the British Health Qigong Association in 2023.
I teach weekly classes in London, as well as 1-1 coaching and corporate workshops..
