Qigong.
Qigong (pronounced Chee-Gong) is a Chinese healing practice with ancient roots, involving gentle movement, and guided inner focus, in order to balance and align the energy of the body.
Qi means Energy
Gong means Time & Effort
Qigong is both an internal and external art. The forms are filled with precise movements, developed to channel energy and blood flow throughout specific pathways in the body, whilst also providing physical benefits through relaxation, strength and flexibility.
Qigong is based on principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), with a particular focus on posture, relaxation, concentration and breathing.
Whilst ancient, Qigong is an evolving practice, with modern research continuing to prove the healing benefits.
My Qigong practice began in 2010, studying under Master Simon Lau. I completed my formal Instructor training with the British Health Qigong Association in 2023.
I teach weekly classes in London, as well as 1-1 coaching and corporate workshops.
